Why we're called the Pumi-Catz!
As if you haven't guessed, it all started off with Me, Pumi!!!!!
You see I was a different kind of kitten. My human mommy always said that
I was more like a dog than a cat. My favorite things to do were to jump into
a filled bathtub while my mommy was taking a bath, and then just letting her
rescue me. I just loved getting all the attention of getting dried off again with
towles. Hi hi hi. When I was outside and my mommy wanted me to come home, she'd
whistle, and floops, there I'd be. She was always laughing at the notion of
having a CAT actually come when being called for. When my human grandfather came
to visit, he would always take a stroll around the block, and guess who strolled
along right beside him! Yup, me! In the wintertime I would climb up on the roof,
and slide down face first through the snow until I got stopped by the rain gutter.
Then I would climb back up to the tip of the roof, and slide back down again.
Yup, I went skiing too! When the fire was burning in the fire-place, I would crawl
so closely to the actual flames that my fur got so hot that the humans could not
touch me, and my whiskers were singed off over half way. So all winter I ran
around with stubby whiskers!
Because of all these strange strange behaviours which are so unlike any normal cat,
my humans came to call me The Pumi Cat.
A few years later, Hexe began to develop very strange habits as well. She became
more and more like me. Mommy started referring to her as another Pumi Cat.
Then Susi joined the fun, and all of a sudden we were THE PUMI CATZ!
And the rest is ...history...!
